How do I set up my SC300i unit for practice & most accuracy?

  • Put the unit approximately 5-6 feet behind the ball.
  • Place unit so VC logo on the left side of the unit is lined up with ball. (Doppler radar is where VC logo is.)
  • Select correct unit of measurement for each data point (Yards vs Meters, Carry vs Total)
  • If a net is used, allow at least 6 feet in front of the ball to the net.
  • Make sure the ball and your Swing Caddie are on the same level. 1/2 inch can make a difference.

Practice and foam balls are not recommended for use as Swing Caddie is programed for real ball use.

How do I connect my SC300i to my phone through Bluetooth?

To establish a Bluetooth connection between your SC300i golf launch monitor and your mobile device, first make sure you have the MySwingCaddie app downloaded, and NOT the Voice Caddie app. Then follow these steps:

  1. Turn on the SC300i
  2. Open the Swing Caddie app on your device
  3. Select the Bluetooth icon on the app

Elevation can vary slightly from exact reading but generally will not cause major difference in readings.

Can more than one person use the same Swing Caddie?

Yes! For multiple users, customers will simply disconnect Bluetooth and next user will connect. Process will take less than 1 minute. Each person will need to have their own MySwingCaddie app account and app downloaded on their phone. Each user will have their shot analysis by club and by date range and stats by mode (practice and target) in their own app.

Does the SC300i auto-record (through the app) video of the swing and auto clip and place swing data on the video clip?

Video feature will auto record once swing is taken and will separate videos for each swing. Note that you will need to be in the video tab of the MySwingCaddie app for the video to be recorded. Swing data is available in video tab and data points can be edited in settings to show exactly what customer wants.

Why isn't the app working with my SC300i?

Double-check that you have downloaded the MySwingCaddie app and NOT the Voice Caddie app, which will not work with a Swing Caddie.

How accurately can I set loft angles?

Round up to nearest loft for .5 decimals to receive the most accurate readings.
