Yes, the Shot Scope mobile app is used with G3, to register your account, update the firmware and check for course updates too.
How long does the battery last on G3?
G3 will last 10+ hours in GPS mode on the golf course, enough for 2 rounds. Off the course, wearing G3 as an everyday watch, it will last over 10 days.
