What is the difference between the FlightScope Mevo and Mevo+?

The Mevo 3D Doppler radar-based launch monitor can be used indoors and outdoors to practice with purpose and improve your overall game. It includes:

  • 8 accurate performance data parameters
  • Action video clips with data overlay
  • Dial in your distances indoors and outdoors
  • Save, upload, and share each practice session

Mevo+ adds the power of Mevo with more data, more features, simulation, and gamification. It includes:

  • All Mevo features Plus
  • 8 Additional accurate data parameters
  • 5 Simulated golf courses (iOS only)
  • 17 practice ranges
  • Internal camera for easy target alignment
  • Wi-Fi hotspot provides a reliable connection

What is the FlightScope Mevo+ Pro Package?

Where should the Mevo+ unit be placed for best results?

Outdoor: 7’-8’ (2.1m-2.4m) sensor to tee with unrestricted ball flight

Indoor (metallic dots required): 8’ (2.4m) sensor to tee; 13’ (4m) min. to net

Short Indoor (metallic dots required): 8’ (2.4m) sensor to tee; 8’ (2.4m) min. to net

  1. Place the Mevo+ behind the ball position so that the camera aims along the chosen target line
  2. In the App, follow the instructions using the camera view to align.

Keep the the area between the Mevo and the tee clear of any objects and people.

Best practice is to keep the unit on the floor with a level surface between the unit and the mat.

For the best spin accuracy indoors, place a reflective sticker on the ball.

Place the ball so that the sticker faces forward, directly away from the Mevo+.

Does Mevo+ have a built-in camera?

Yes. Mevo+ has a built-in camera for sensor alignment only.

What mobile devices are compatible with Mevo+?


iPhones / iPads with:

  • iOS 12 or later
  • Bluetooth LE 4.0 – supports UART/Serial Port Emulation service with RX and TX characteristics

Can Mevo+ be used when balls are hit into a net?

Yes, as long as long as the minimum space requirements are met.

How is video recorded with the Mevo+?

The video is taken with the mobile device camera in the FS Golf app. The radar is synchronized with your mobile device to automatically record and clip video of you swing with data overlay.

What simulation software is Mevo+ integrated with?

Mevo+ is integrated with TruGolf (E6 Connect) and comes with ownership of 5 golf courses (Aviara, Stone Canyon, Wade Hampton, Sanctuary, Belfry), 17 ranges, and a mini game powered by E6. This bundle that comes with the purchased of Mevo+ is for iOS only. Customers have the option to purchase additional E6 simulation packages if they want more courses. Mevo+ is also integrated with The Golf Club and Creative Golf 3D which are both PC only.

Is there a yearly fee with the Mevo+? is our online cloud that allows users to view, store, and review each practice session.
You will be able to store three videos per month free of charge. If you wish to store more videos each month, you can purchase more storage. All FlightScope Mevo+ data parameters will always be available free of charge. There is also an optional support agreement available to put your Mevo+ under extended warranty.

Does the FlightScope Mevo+ have a combine feature?

Yes. The Mevo+ is compatible with the FS Skills app available for Android and iOS devices.

Do I need metallic stickers on golf balls for indoor and/or outdoor use?

Metallic stickers are recommended to accurately measure spin indoors as ball flight is limited, but stickers are not needed during outdoor use.

Can I input more than 14 clubs with the Mevo+?

Yes, you can input an unlimited amount of clubs.

The first step we recommend is contacting FlightScopes's fantastic support team directly — this can be done in two ways:

As an Authorized FlightScope Dealer, all FlightScope Mevo and Mevo+ launch monitors sold on are completely eligible for FlightScope's 1-Year Limited Hardware Warranty. So you can be confident you'll be protected from any product defects within 365 days of your delivery date!

Per manufacturer policy, the return period for all FlightScope launch monitors is 30 days (you will be provided with free PlayBetter shipping label). This means the FlightScope Mevo+ unit must be returned to the PlayBetter warehouse within 30 days of it arriving at your shipping address.

If you purchased both the Mevo+ Unit and Mevo+ Pro Package Software at the same time, both are refundable within 30 days of purchase, even if you have registered the code.

For Mevo+ Pro Package Software, once activated it cannot be refunded. If it's not registered, it can be refunded within 30 days.
